Prof. J. Strat Noller, PhD | Chief Innovation Officer
Strat provides vision on corporate strategies and working plans. He is founder and former director of the Global Hemp Innovation Center at Oregon State University, raising over $80 million in US grants as the global leader in Cannabis sativa research. His university research and teaching focused on advancing the frontiers of computational systems and AI in natural and biological systems science.
Prof. Richard van Breemen, PhD | Chief Science Officer
Prof. Richard van Breemen from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the Oregon State University College of Pharmacy is an expert in biomedical mass spectrometry with a focus on natural products. He researches the discovery of drugs from botanicals and investigates the safety and efficacy of botanical dietary supplements. He has been named one of the top 100 analytical scientists from around the world.
Billy Tosheff | Chief Development Officer
Billy Tosheff is Chief Development Officer, with a 40-year career driving $200MM in enterprise revenues. He co-founded Columbia Hemp Trading Company LLC and Applied Discoveries Inc., and as CDO focuses on furthering Applied Discoveries Inc’s mission. His career has been inspired by natural and plant sourced medicinal compounds and their potential for improving ecological and human wellness.
Chad Johnson, Esq | Legal
Chad Johnson Esq. is a Harvard-trained corporate, legislative, and regulatory attorney with experience in advising health and biotechnology companies, both public and private. He previously clerked for a federal judge and worked at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom’s Washington, DC office, focusing on financial institution regulatory law, political law, and pro bono advocacy. He is currently a business leader, board member, and legal counsel for domestic and international life-sciences companies, and a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America and International AIDS Society.
William Simpson | Capital Advisor
William Simpson is the founder of Chalice Farms, one of the leading cannabis brands and dispensary chains in Oregon. With a background in communications, mortgages, venture capital, and the medical marijuana industry, William built state-of-the-art grow facilities, opened Portland’s first medical marijuana retail location, and launched the Chalice Farms brand. He is known for his innovative practices in manufacturing, sales, and marketing.

Khadija Benlhassan, PhD, has fifteen years of experience in preclinical and clinical international research programs. She has worked in drug discovery at GlaxoSmithKline Research and Development and immunology at DANONE Research Centre.
